About

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.
~
J.R.R. Tolkien

I am a PhD candidate conducting research at the University of Toronto and The Hospital for Sick Children. I received my MSc from Western University under the mentorship of Dr. David Litchfield, where I was involved in developing a FRET-based biosensor for the monitoring of CK2 activity in living cells. Currently, I am in the lab of Dr. Charles Deber, assessing the potential for membrane-active peptides in the treatment of efflux-mediated bacterial antimicrobial resistance. Outside of my academic career, I am an avid music enthusiast and even co-founded Don't Blink Music Group, a company dedicated to the management and publicity of a roster of artists within the alternative music scene.

My passions lie in the pursuit of scientific discovery and the emotional journey that accompanies an impactful record. So, whether you're an academic looking to discuss my recent research or a fellow music lover with a list of recommendations, please don't hesitate to contact me!
